Missing Teeth

A patient may be missing teeth for many reasons. In some cases, such as when teeth are extracted in childhood, it may not be obvious to anyone except a dentist that a tooth has gone.

In other cases, there may be noticeable gaps. A tooth may have been extracted after it was broken. Or surgery may have been necessary for some other reason.

Missing teeth need replacing
Apart from looking unsightly, missing teeth may lead to malocclusion, or a variety of other complications.

A patient's options vary from dentures, to crowns and bridges, to full-scale implants—often the most satisfactory solution.
