Check-ups
Regular check-ups are vital if you are to maintain your dental health.
What do you do?
During a check-up, we will check the state of your teeth and gums, often using x-rays. This way, we can identify problems which might get worse, and check the progress of previous treatments.
A warning
Do not wait until you get toothache. By the time you become aware of pain in your teeth, it may be too late to remedy the problem.
How often do I need a check-up?
Depending on the general state of your teeth, and on the advice of your dentist, it is sensible to have a check-up every 6 months, or at least once a year.
Even more important is to see a hygienist regularly. We recommend you have a check-up with our hygienist at least every 4 months.
